About this site

For six years, the Internet Nexus served as my technology blog, but I've since started blogging at the SuperSite Blog instead. If you're looking for the blog, please head there. --Paul

I don't care what anyone says... Linux is still frustratingly hard to use. I spent almost all day Sunday trying to get Ximian GNOME to let me simply double-click on gz and tar files, but it would have none of that. Today, I'm installing Debian for the first time. I recently tried Mandrake 8.1 RC and simply hated it--hated it--but so far, Red Hat 7.1 is the winner on the Linux front. We'll see whether Debian--or the new KDE 2.2.1--can win me over.
