About this siteFor six years, the Internet Nexus served as my technology blog, but I've since started blogging at the SuperSite Blog instead. If you're looking for the blog, please head there. --Paul Sunday, July 07, 2002Making the switchGuys like David Coursey crack me up because they use a Mac for a month, write about it, and then go back to what they did before (Windows). I've been using a Mac for a year now, though I didn't replace my PCs with it. This guy, however, did replace his PCs, and while I don't agree with everything he writes (for example, Mozilla can't touch IE's speed, especially on OS X), this is a decent article about going Mac. And his comments about Linux are right on: I've been trying to use Linux regularly for over two years (after sporadically testing the OS since 1994) and it just isn't there yet. Anyone who says Linux is ready is a) lying, b) running only a limited set of niche applications (Web development, etc.) or, c) cheating by running Windows applications in emulation.
