Whither OpenOffice.org?
After making a big splash this past spring, things have been awful quiet in the OpenOffice.org camp. Lately, however, there have been some signs of life. The OpenOffice.org community announced recently that it has registered over 5 million downloads of its 1.0 product. More important, of course, is the future, which includes an OS X version, numerous global native-language versions, and bundling in various Linux distributions.
