Go Celtics! Currently leading the New Jersey Nets 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals, my beloved Boston Celtics have surprised everyone except, of course, me. I knew this was a great team when I started rediscovering them last season after almost a decade out West, and now here they are, one of the top four teams in the world. It's a beautiful thing.

June travel. Two trips to Seattle this month and, possibly, a few days in Martha's Vineyard with Steph.

Fight with lightsabers! The new game Star Wars: Jedi Knight II, Jedi Outcast finally gets lightsaber fighting right. Not as good a game as Quake III or Allied Assault, but the music, Star Wars universe, and yes, the lightsabers, make this one worth checking out.

Mozilla rocks. And its extensible: I'm investigating Mozilla add-ons such as a spell-checker, a Calendar component (still in alpha), a built-in blogger pane, new icons, new themes (I prefer Gray Modern), and much, much more. This browser suite is going to get me off IE eventually and, amazingly, off Outlook too. Combine Mozilla with OpenOffice.org 1.0, and you've got a nice little, non-Microsoft solution. Good stuff.

ATTACK OF THE CLONES. Don't believe the critics. Star Wars Episode II is excellent, with a rich plot, full of twists that will be appreciated by die-hard fans. More importantly, perhaps, it's action-packed and full of amazing effects sequences. The best Star Wars since the original.

Finally a good industry book. Dean Takahashi's Opening the Xbox is excellent, and highly recommended.
