Apple goes both ways
Apparently, new revisions of Apple's 17-inch iMac dispense with the Pioneer DVD-R drive used by earlier models, using intead a new dual-format, or "Super-Multi," drive that does DVD+R and DVD+RW as well as DVD-R (and DVD-RW). Cool, because that's exactly the Mac I'm going to buy next.
