AOL/Microsoft settlement: The death of Netscape?
Microsoft pays AOL $750 million to settle its antitrust lawsuit against the software giant. The result? AOL licenses IE, royalty free, for seven years, AOL licenses Windows Digital Media and DRM technologies for seven years, the companies agree to interoperation their IM applications. Anyone else see the odd man out? Hint: It's a lizard that rhymes with Godzilla.
