About this siteFor six years, the Internet Nexus served as my technology blog, but I've since started blogging at the SuperSite Blog instead. If you're looking for the blog, please head there. --Paul Friday, December 19, 20032004 is the year of Linux, part fourApparently, you can buy Sun's Java Desktop System (JDS, a confusing name as it's a Linux distribution) for just $50 online during a special promotion (it goes up to $100 in June 2004). That price includes the full StarOffice 7.0 productivity suite, which costs $50 or more by itself. I just paid $50 for LindowsOS 4.5, and am pretty impressed so far. I might have to check this out.
