About this siteFor six years, the Internet Nexus served as my technology blog, but I've since started blogging at the SuperSite Blog instead. Thursday, March 06, 2003Apple to launch online music serviceReports are coming in fast and furious now that Apple will soon announce an online music service that will "allow consumers to download songs from the major record labels and copy them to its iPod portable digital music player through a new technology standard known as Advanced Audio Codec. [ Posted at 9:26 AM | Permalink ] Apple goes both ways Apparently, new revisions of Apple's 17-inch iMac dispense with the Pioneer DVD-R drive used by earlier models, using intead a new dual-format, or "Super-Multi," drive that does DVD+R and DVD+RW as well as DVD-R (and DVD-RW). Cool, because that's exactly the Mac I'm going to buy next. [ Posted at 9:24 AM | Permalink ]
