Thursday, May 08, 2003Mozilla 1.4 beta releasedMozilla.org has posted the first beta release of Mozilla 1.4, which features NTLM authentication on Windows; a way to specify "blank page," "home page," or "last page visited" for each of first window, new window and new tab; a way to specify default font, size and color for HTML mail compose; more flexible image blocking/disabling; "Launch file" after downloading for .exe files; and a number of bug fixes and other small improvements. [ Posted at 5:00 PM | Permalink ] Apple releases Mac OS X 10.2.6 Apple has released an interim update to Mac OS X 10.2, version 10.2.6, which adds fix various bugs, improves printing compatibility for PostScript OpenType fonts, improves compatibility for Maya Auto Paint and Paint Effects features, addresses an issue for Mac OS X 10.2.5 in which English is the default language and Asian language scripts are not available in the International preference pane if a script's font is not available, iImproves compatibility for MacSoft Unreal Tournament 2003 on computers with GeForce 2MX and GeForce4MX graphic accelerator chipsets, and adds support for the Sony Ericsson T610 phone to Address Book.
